Ingredients:

For the Chicken Marinade:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For the Breading:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

For Frying:

Vegetable oil, for frying (enough to fill your frying pan or skillet to about 1 inch deep)
