Garlic flatbreads in 10 minutes

Ingredients:

for flatbreads:
350 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
some salt
60 ml oil
120 ml water
for brushing:
pressed garlic (adjust the amount to taste)
a small oil
herbs to taste (e.g. parsley, coriander or rosemary)

Preparation:

Prepare the dough: Mix the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
Add oil and water to the dry ingredients.Knead the mixture with your hands or a mixer until a smooth dough forms. If the dough feels too sticky, add a little more flour; If it’s too dry, add a splash more water.

Form flat cakes:

Separate small pieces of dough and form balls from them. On a lightly floured surface, flatten each ball with a rolling pin to form flatbreads. Aim for a thickness of about 1/8 to 1/4 inch, depending on your preference.Bake the cakes:

Heat a frying pan or non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, place a flatbread in the pan.
Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly puffed up. Repeat the process with the remaining flatbreads.

Brushed with garlic oil:

In a small bowl, mix some oil with the pressed garlic and the selected herbs. This will be your tasteful brush blend.
As soon as each flatbread is finished baking, spread the garlic and oil mixture on top while it is still hot. This gives them a delicious garlic-herb flavor.
