When it’s time to give gifts, people often feel anxious. Who wants something, when are the top deals, and did we miss anyone? Although I can’t avoid all shopping, I have been making an effort to give homemade gifts, especially food. This Cranberry Loaf is loved by both friends and family and is the perfect quick treat.

Instructions for Making Cranberry Bread
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease 2 loaf pans well. You can also use one large loaf pan or a 9-inch cake pan.
In a big bowl, put eggs and sugar and mix for 5 minutes until the mixture increases in volume (it’s important not to skip this step!).
Combine butter, vanilla, and almond extract until the mixture is smooth.
Carefully stir together the flour, baking powder, and salt until just mixed, then add the cranberries.
Put the batter into the pans that have been prepared.
In a little bowl, combine all topping ingredients until they have a sandy texture. Put on top of the bread.
Bake for 45-50 minutes if making 2 loaves or 60-70 minutes for 1 large loaf. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool down before cutting it.
