20 large pasta shells, cooked as directed on the box and set aside to drain, 4 ounces (113g) of melted cream cheese, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, and sour cream are optional garnishes.

Instructions:

Get the oven ready: Ready your oven for baking at 350°F (175°C).

Mash the Vegetables: Remove any pinkness from the ground beef or turkey by browning it in a pan over medium heat. Remove any surplus of fat. When meat is done cooking, toss in salsa and taco seasoning. After a good stirring, reduce heat and simmer for a little while.

Once the beef mixture has cooked, stir in the melted cream cheese. To get a creamy consistency, stir in the cream cheese until well combined. Get it out of the oven.

Fill the Shells: Spoon the taco meat mixture into each cooked pasta shell. Fill the shells and place them in a baking tray.

Add Cheese on Top: Before serving, top the filled shells with shredded cheddar cheese.

To bake, line a baking dish with foil and place in a preheated oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until the shells are warm and the cheese is melted.

When ready to serve, take the dish out of the oven. Add any toppings you choose, such as diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, sliced green onions, etc. Warm the taco packed shells before serving.

In order to enhance the taste of the packed shells, you may put a layer of refried beans to the bottom of the baking dish before placing them.

To make the filling your own, you may combine the meat with sliced onions, bell peppers, or black beans for more flavor and texture.

To suit your own taste, adjust the seasoning. Instead of buying taco seasoning, you can whip up a batch of your own.

The taco packed shells are delicious. If you’re hosting a party or just want to create a special supper for your family, they are sure to be a hit.
