A very simple and fulfilling side dish or snack, this cheesy quick bread is Perfect for hectic weeknights or when you’re hankering for a cheesy treat, it’s loaded with melty cheese and comes together in less than an hour.
components:
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour; ¼ cup granulated sugar
Two ½ tablespoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon of salt
One cup shredded cheddar cheese—or your preferred cheese—
One big egg, beaten ¾ cup milk
¹ ½ cup vegetable oil
Directions:
Set your oven for 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Grease a 9x 5 inch loaf pan.
Whisk in a large basin the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the crumbled cheese.
Whisk together the vegetable oil, milk, and beaten egg in another dish.
Combine the wet components with the dry ones just until blended. Guard from overmixing!
Load the batter into your ready loaf pan.
Baker until a toothpick put into the middle comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.
Before moving the bread to a wire rack to cool completely, let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
