Thumbprint Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup your favorite jam
1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon kosher salt
⅓ cup rolling sugar
Instructions:
Beat butter and 2/3 cup sugar in a mixer until fluffy.
Add vanilla and salt.
Add the flour little by little until a dough forms.
Chill the dough for an hour.Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare the baking sheets.
Form the dough into balls, sprinkle with sugar and place on trays.
Make a hole in each biscuit and fill it with jam.
Bake for 14 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
