Cajun Steak and Shrimp
Ingredients
Cajun Steak and Shrimp
3 tsp (45 ml) basil oil
2 tsp (10 ml) Cajun seasoning
1 pound (454 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 large green or red Peppers, seeded and quartered
60 g (12 cups) andouille or chorizo, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 tomato, chopped (approx. 250 ml/1 cup)
250 ml (1 cup) milk
1 pack of Knorr Sidekicks Fettuccine Alfredo
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl, stir together 30 ml (2 tablespoons) Becel oil and Cajun seasoning. Add chicken and pepper. Toss to coat.
Step 2
Grill or broil, turning once, until the chicken and vegetables are cooked through, about 6 minutes. Slice vegetables and chicken.Reserve and heating.
Step 3
Heat the remaining 15 ml (1 tablespoon) oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat and cook the sausages, stirring frequently, until golden brown, about 3 minutes.
Step 4
Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, 30 seconds.
Step 5
Add the tomatoes and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, 2 minutes.
Step 6
In the same pot, add 175 ml (3/4 cup) water and milk and bring to a boil over high heat.Add Knorr Sidekicks Fettuccine Alfredo and bring to the boil again. Reduce heat to medium and let stand, covered, stirring constantly, until pasta is cooked through, 8 minutes.
Step 7
Serve chicken and peppers with pasta
