Pork chops with potato gratin

Every time I make this dish, guests ask me for the recipe

Ingredients:

6 pork chops

4 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

1 onion, sliced 

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 can broth of your choice (chicken is a popular choice), 14 oz

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions:

Set the stage: Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Layer time: Distribute the potato and onion slices evenly on the bottom of the baking dish. Give them plenty of spices.

Browning and Layering: In a skillet, brown the pork chops after seasoning. Once ready, place them on top of the potato and onion layer.Seasoning: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and stir until smooth. Carefully pour in the broth, followed by salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir and cook until a rich, velvety sauce forms.

Preparation: Drizzle this sauce over the pork chops.Bake: Cover your dish with aluminum foil and let it bake for 45 minutes.

Serving: As soon as you take it out of the oven, serve it piping hot and faces will light up with joy
