Slow Cooker Salted Caramel Fudge Recipe
This treat is a huge success! Be careful, they never last long!
ingredients:
1 can (14 OZ) sweetened condensed milk
3 cups of half -sweet chocolate pieces
1 cup of milk chocolate pieces
1/2 cup of unsalzent butter, in cubes for drizzling
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon sea salt, plus more for sprinkling
Instructions:
Prepare a serving platter. Bake 8-inch squares with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy fudge removal.
In the slow cooker, combine condensed milk, chocolate chips and butter.
Cook over low heat for 1-2 hours, stirring every 15-20 minutes, until smooth.Add the caramel sauce and vanilla extract until well blended.
Pour the mixture into the baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
Drizzle more caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with sea salt.
Allow to cool to room temperature and then leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
