 FOR THE CHICKEN WINGS:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed and wings cut into drums and patties
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (NOT baking powder)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 /2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional for more flavor)

FOR  FRYING:

  • Vegetable oil, for frying

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce (e.g. Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

 Steps:

 PREPARING THE CHICKEN WINGS:
