Pecan Butter Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 7 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch salt
- half pecans on each cracker
NUT STEAK:
Make sure the oven is pre-set to 350 heats is °C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Then whip the butter, powdered sugar and cream. Mix the cane sugar with an electric whisk until you get a slightly creamy mass.
Then add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat for another 2 minutes. Immediately add the flour, baking powder and salt and stir until well combined.
Once the balls are ready, use a medium spatula to place them on the prepared parchment paper and top each cookie with half a pecan. Bake about 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
